MAKEUP POLICY

Each student is eligible for up to five (5) makeup tokens per calendar year.

● Tokens must be used within 60 days of the missed lesson.

● Makeups must be scheduled through the customer portal.

● Tokens are only valid during active enrollment and will be forfeited if the student becomes inactive.

● Missed makeup lessons will not be rescheduled or reissued.

DROP PROCEDURE / 30-DAY NOTICE

A written 30-day notice is required to cancel enrollment. Acceptable forms of notice include:

● The drop function in the customer portal

● Email

● Postal mail

● Hand-delivered letter to a staff member

Verbal notices will not be accepted. You remain responsible for payment through the 30 days following the date written notice is received, regardless of attendance. If a student stops attending without notice, you will still be billed for the 30-day period.

DRESS CODE

Students must wear:

● Riding helmet

● Riding breeches or pants

● Paddock boots or tall boots

Prohibited attire:

● Sandals, flip-flops, Crocs

● Dangling jewelry

● Chewing gum

 

Hair must be tied back.

Palina’s Ponies is not responsible for lost or stolen items. Please label all belongings.

ARRIVAL & PICKUP

● Arrive no more than 5 minutes before class time.

● Pick up students promptly at the end of class.

● If you anticipate being late, please notify us.

● Drive slowly on property—many students are young children.

● Do not allow students to run to or from your car.

Tardiness Policy:

● For Unicorn and Mustang classes: If a student arrives 20 minutes or more late, they will not ride and will use one of their makeup tokens.

● For Pegasus classes: If a student arrives 10 minutes or more late, they will not ride and will use one of their makeup tokens.

MISCELLANEOUS

● No pets allowed on any Palina’s Ponies facility.

● Do not enter barns or interact with animals without trainer permission.

● Do not feed animals unless directed by staff.

● Parking is allowed only on hard surfaces (asphalt, concrete, or gravel).

We understand parking is limited, but we encourage all visitors to use hard surface spots first before parking on the grass.

Billing Authorization

 

By enrolling in classes, I acknowledge and agree to the following:

● I authorize Palina’s Ponies to charge my credit card or bank account (ACH draft) for tuition and associated fees.

● I affirm that all payment information provided is true and valid, and charges will be honored by my financial institution.

● I understand that a 30-day written notice is required to stop billing. I am responsible for payment through this 30-day period, regardless of attendance.

● I agree to pay all posted prices, including applicable taxes, fees, and penalties. Disputed charges initiated through my financial institution will be considered a breach of contract, potentially resulting in penalties, legal action, and/or termination of services.

Payment Failures:

● Returned or failed payments incur a $20 fee.

● Late payments incur a $10 per day late fee, beginning the day after the due date.
